Mariya is a litigation attorney who represents clients in a wide range of civil matters. Her practice spans general civil and business litigation, State Bar disciplinary defense, legal malpractice defense, ethics counseling, intellectual property, and international law. She combines careful legal analysis with practical problem-solving to protect clients’ rights and reputations.
An active member of the State Bar of California, Mariya earned her Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law (2024). She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, focused on Peace & Security in the Middle East and North Africa, from the University of California, Davis (2020). Mariya is a proud and active member of the Association of Disciplinary Defense Counsel, Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers, and the Anthony M. Kennedy Inn of Court.
During her time at McGeorge, Mariya was the first student in university history to extern with the United Nations— working on a team focused on seeking legal relief and providing aid to displaced communities. She brings a strong commitment to human rights and has also helped implement U.S. civil litigation related to human rights violations on foreign soil.
Outside of her practice, Mariya enjoys coffee, spending time with her Pomsky puppy, and is a devoted admirer of wolves, llamas, and the Sacramento Kings.
